KAMAR pricing changes for 2027 and updated training rates

Thank you for choosing KAMAR and for your continued partnership with us. We know school budgets are tight, and we don't make price increases lightly. These changes support ongoing investment in KAMAR and the teams behind it, so we can keep delivering the security, performance and features your school relies on.

Annual Rental and Hosting Costs

From 1st April 2027, the new rates will be as follows. All prices exclude GST.

Annual Rental

• Base rate: $2,800 (currently $2,700).
• Per 50 students: $110 (currently $100).

Hosting

• Base rate: $3,800 (currently $3,600).
• Per 50 students: $40 (currently $30).

Student numbers are based on your 1st March roll return, charged per full block of 50 students. The FileMaker licensing component of your invoice is unchanged.

For example, an average-sized secondary school with 770 students and 60 FTE staff would pay $12,750 in 2027 for rental, FileMaker and hosting combined (up from $12,150 in 2026).

Training

From 12th October 2026, the new rates will be as follows. Any existing training sessions already booked will stay at the price agreed when booking. All prices exclude GST.

On-site Training
The cost of in-person training is as follows:

• Trainer: $140 per hour, minimum 2 hours.
• Flights: charged at cost.
• Rental car: $200 per day, where applicable.
• Trainer travel time: $80 per hour.
• Overnight: $220 per night, covering accommodation and trainer allowance.

Remote Training
Remote training is $120 for the first hour (minimum charge), then $40 per 20-minute block. Time beyond the first hour is usually rounded to the nearest 20-minute block.
