Attendance Reminder from the Ministry of Education

Reminder: Daily Attendance Reporting starts Term 1 2025

From Term 1 2025, attendance data must be recorded in KAMAR every day you are open for instruction. Your KAMAR will submit this information to the Ministry after 6pm each day. You must use the revised set of attendance codes that the Ministry has provided.

To assist in ensuring that attendance is as accurate as possible, the Ministry recommends that your school community is made aware of this change and that parents and caregivers understand your school’s processes and policies for reporting absences.
