KAMAR Training Events

We have a few different options for training coming up soon! There are the details (and links to more information - including costs, content and registration.

One Day Workshops

We have two workshops, in Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington:

• Timetabling - starting with the prerequisites for the timetabling process, this day-long workshop covers the "how to" and the "why" of timetabling. Suitable for timetablers of all levels and experience.
• Custom Lists - this day-long workshop explores the power of KAMAR's Custom files: scripting, layouts, exports, server-side activities and FileMaker fundamentals. This workshop is aimed at intermediate to advanced users.

Cost
Each one-day workshop will be $230 + GST per person. Included in your registration is tea/coffee on arrival, morning tea and lunch. If you have any special dietary requirements that we need to be aware of, please let us know when you register.

• Each workshop is a separate event, registration is per event.
• Numbers are strictly limited, attendees will not be able to switch workshops on the day.
• The venues may not cater for any lifestyle choices, eg Paleo or Keto. To avoid any potential confusion, please ensure that all food allergies are listed as an allergy when you register (eg, "peanut allergy" rather than "no peanuts").

One Day Courses

We have two more of each of our role-based courses this year, in Tauranga:

• KAMAR for HODs - this course looks at the specific skills and knowledge needed by Heads of Department, covering things like markbook setup, assessment creation, moderation, and analysing result information. Most suitable for HODs in a secondary environment.
• KAMAR for Deans - this course focuses on the skills and knowledge needed by deans, covering things like pastoral responsibilities, academic responsibilities, and some general tools used in the day-to-day work of a dean.

Cost
Each one-day course will be $120 + GST per person. Included in your registration is tea/coffee on arrival, morning tea and lunch, and all materials needed to participate in the course. If you have any special dietary requirements that we need to be aware of, please let us know when you register.

• Each course is a separate event, registration is per event.
• Please be clear with dietary requirements - for example, "allergic to capsicum" not "no capsicum".
• Numbers in each event are strictly limited.
