What's in a Name?

As the character Juliet asked in Shakespeare's famous play Romeo and Juliet, "What's in a name?"

When it comes to student names in KAMAR and how they are passed along to some key integrations (eg, ENROL and NZQA), there's actually quite a bit in a name!

We have been hearing reports from schools about student names on NZQA exam slips - some strange things appearing, names formatted on odd ways, that sort of thing.

It all comes down to how you have your student names entered into KAMAR. Here's our advice, along with the reasons why. And some examples that (hopefully) make things clearer.
