KAMAR Hosting Outage - Wednesday 4th March

KAMAR experienced an outage to its web services which affected it's Auckland DC connection. This outage impacted schools hosted in Auckland, access to KAMAR web site, 2FA authentication and school.kiwi services.

The primary cause was due to the network connection between our primary router and core network switch doing down.  Additionally, the HA monitor failed to initiate a fall-over to our secondary router, requiring manual intervention. A support ticket with our router support has been raised to investigate further.

The outage was resolved at 7:35am
